“Arena Etiquette” - - The Difference Between a Winner and a Loser
A true winner always leaves the arena with his head held high.  He does not discipline his horse in
the arena or throw a fit.  He is always gracious and always says thank you when congratulated,
even if he wasn’t satisfied with the ride or run.  He is nothing but respectful no matter how
disappointed or angry he is.  He finds the positives in his failures and learns from his mistakes.
A loser is not necessarily the person who gets last place.  A loser is disrespectful toward
others and takes his mistakes out on his horse.  A loser makes excuses and doesn’t figure out what
he needs to do better.  The difference between a winner and a loser is not how you place or the
number of titles you win, it is how you handle both success and failure.  With that, we urge all of
you to be winners in D3 and always have this in the back of your mind.  Let’s all be true winners
and have a great season.

Time onlys occur every Friday night on a rodeo weekend
at 5:00 pm for barrels and poles.  Poles are first and then
barrels.  Please pay your $5.00 per run fee before entering
the arena!

GENERAL MEETINGS are on Saturday at 8:00am at every rodeo and are
MANDATORY for all District 3 competitors.  Family members are welcome.  Plenty of
information is given at the General Meetings pertaining to the weekend's rodeo.

Membership forms can be submitted throughout the season to Michelle Swift,
however you must be a member for two weeks prior to your first rodeo.
